I first met Alex in December 1998 and our roots trace back to Michael E. Gerber, of E-Myth fame. Michael was the foremost pioneer in the field of business coaching, and was the first business coach to systemize coaching and make a true business of coaching itself.
Michael’s Best-Selling book, The E-Myth Revisited (first published in 1995) is still listed by Business Week and Wall Street Journal as one of the all-time-great best-selling business books.
Alex Alexander was an independent consultant and Michael Gerber engaged him to do an objective evaluation of his company, and to suggest ways to accelerate its growth. Michael was so impressed with his work that he offered Alex a full-time job. Alex jumped at the opportunity and joined Michael immediately. They worked together to move the company forward, toward the 21st Century.
In January 1996, Michael formed a team headed-up by Alex to get a specific job done – he called this team the “Brainbusters”.
The "Brainbusters" brief was to create an entirely new set of business coaching materials.
That became Alex and his team’s job, and the result… after four years of development… was the world-renowned E-Myth Mastery Program.
They also had to create processes for training and certifying coaches, and the administrative and management support systems. All had to be created and put in place in 5 months.
And as Alex says… we took a deep breath, jumped in and, somehow, got the job done… and the E-Myth Mastery Business Development Program became the acknowledged best in the world, bar none.
In 2005, Michael’s E-Myth Academy shifted strategy. Their purpose changed to focus more on an Internet-based business model. As part of that shift, they decided to terminate their worldwide network of coaches.
And that's the beginning of our Full Spectrum Company.
